Our platform is governed by our Terms of Service, which outline user responsibilities, dispute handling, and platform rules. Here's a plain-language look at how U-Fab keeps projects, payments, and files safe.
Verified Clients & Vendors
Clients complete identity verification before posting projects. Vendors submit business information and go through a verification process before they can bid — so you know who you're dealing with on both sides.
Escrow-Protected Payments
Client payments are processed through Stripe and held by U-Fab in escrow. Deposits may be released early; the remaining balance is only released to the vendor once the client confirms the work has been delivered.
Disputes & Refunds
We encourage clients and vendors to resolve issues directly first. If a project isn't delivered as agreed and sufficient evidence is provided, U-Fab may refund the client — or release funds to the vendor once delivery is confirmed. U-Fab does not provide full dispute resolution or guarantee outcomes; users take on the normal risks of custom manufacturing work.
File Confidentiality
Vendors may only access your design files to complete your project. Files may not be reused or shared outside the platform without your consent, and you retain ownership of everything you upload.
Account Standards
We may suspend or terminate accounts for harassment, misuse of information, failure to deliver projects, or exploiting other users — keeping the platform safe for everyone.
