U-Fab does not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Where Data Is Stored & Platform Infrastructure

U-Fab uses the following third-party infrastructure providers to operate the platform:

• Application hosting: Vercel
• Authentication, database, and file storage: Supabase — this is where account data, uploaded files (including verification documents and design files), and messages are stored
• Transactional email: Resend
• Payment processing: Stripe
• Source code: Private GitHub repositories with restricted access to authorized U-Fab personnel
• Domain registration: GoDaddy

U-Fab aims to store data within Canada where possible, though exact server locations may vary depending on our infrastructure providers' own hosting regions.

6. Data Retention

Project files and related records may be retained for a period of time after project completion (currently estimated up to one year) for operational, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes. Retention timelines may be adjusted as platform needs evolve.

Users may request deletion of their accounts and associated data, subject to legal and operational requirements.

7. File Handling & Ownership

• Clients own the intellectual property of their uploaded files and designs
• Vendors may download files only for project execution
• Files may not be reused outside the agreed project
• Files are not watermarked
• U-Fab does not claim ownership of uploaded content

8. Your Rights

You may:

• Request access to your data
• Request correction of your data
• Request deletion of your account
• Opt out of marketing communications
